This is an excellent interview by Bishop Robert Barron of Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett of the U. S. Supreme Court. They talk about Coney Barrett’s philosophy of interpreting the U. S. Constitution, how she manages cases where she has to vote in a way that is contrary to how she would like the law to be, the people who made an impact on her life, as a lawyer, a mother, and a devout Catholic, and a little of the ins-and-outs of how the justices on the Supreme Court work together. It’s worth a listen.

Bishop Barron chose to interview Justice Coney Barrett in light of the release of her new book Listening to the Law. I purchased a copy of the book a couple of months ago, but haven’t yet gotten to it. I think I will now.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett is one of the more prominent Catholic Americans having an impact on our national direction. She is a voice worth hearing, and Bishop Barron asks a lot of the right questions.

Be Christ for all. Bring Christ to all. See Christ in all.
