In the United States, we don’t hear much of the Church in Asia. Their suffering in places like China and India goes largely unreported. Here is the story of thousands who seek to convert to Christianity because of the discrimination they suffer from their fellow Hindus because the caste system in India is still so entrenched, decades after Gandhi campaigned against it in the 1940s. They hope to find freedom in Jesus.
Here’s praying that the Catholics of India will discard the caste system and embrace these new faithful with open arms.
