Below is a link recommending internships and job opportunities for students by the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies department at Fordham University.
The link includes job opportunities at a number of pro-abortion institutions such as Planned Parenthood, Amnesty International, NOW-NYC, and GLAAD (which champions the LGBT agenda).
Fordham is a Catholic university. Specifically it is a university founded and run by the Society of Jesus, the Jesuits.
Fordham, and other Jesuit universities, have long been criticized by those who care about the integrity of Catholic teaching and Catholic education of being lax, if not utterly disinterested, in maintaing that integrity. Instead, they are accused of being more interested in being taken seriously by the higher education establishment in the West, which means caving in to the social agenda of Western elites, which demands accommodation on abortion, the LGBT agenda, and euthanasia. Out of fear of losing credibility among the elites, Fordham has rejected the truth of Catholic moral teaching, of the intrinsic dignity of every human life, in favor of accommodating those who demand that unborn life be sacrificed on the altar of modernity, sexual liberation, and convenience. Rather than encourage the creation of opportunities and options for pregnant women facing difficulties and seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Fordham has succumbed to the solution recommended by our dominant, secular culture: the easiest way to deal with difficult people is to kill them.
As always, Fordham has two options: either grow a backbone of resistance against the onslaught of cultural pressure and take a stand in favor of Catholic teaching on the intrinsic dignity of the human person, or stop calling itself a Catholic university.
I await with bated breath their choice.
