Lord, Have Mercy

Based on the results of polling data, voters in the Republic of Ireland have overwhelmingly passed a referendum to repeal the 8th Amendment of the Irish Constitution, which guaranteed an “equal right to life” for both mothers and children in the womb, thus restricting abortion to cases of threats to the life of the mother. The Irish government is now empowered to introduce legislation that will lift restrictions on abortion. Irish Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar, who supported repeal, says he will introduce legislation that would make abortion legal up to twelve weeks.

In what will doubtless be hailed by many as a brave decision to break the shackles of Ireland’s oppressive, archaic Catholic heritage so that Ireland can march into the bright light of progressive Western civilization, the Irish people have voted in favor of killing children for profit.

“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.”   Matthew 13-14

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccati mundi, miserere nobis.

Be Christ for all. Bring Christ to all. See Christ in all.
