For months, the Biden administration has been transporting illegal immigrants, including unaccompanied minors, to various location across the United States, including Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and other states. There are reports that the migrants are being transported because the border states don’t have the resources to shelter the close to two million illegals who have entered the U. S. since Biden took office. Other sources, however, report that state and local officials have received no notice that the flights and buses filled with migrants were coming to their communities. Now, Biden is asking for more money from FEMA to transport more illegals, recognizing that the crisis cannot be managed with available funds. Yet, he still refuses to close the border. Illegals recently arrived in the U. S. report that the border is open, even as VP Kamala Harris insisted in an interview on September 11 that “We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration.” An illegal immigrant who arrived in Washington, DC close to the VP’s home contradicted her, saying, “It’s open, not closed. The border is open…everybody believes that the border is open. It’s open because we enter. We come in, free, no problem.” Biden has also sent illegal immigrants to New York City, though the city is experiencing a crisis in homelessness.
So, the outcries of rage from Democrats and liberal commentators over Governors Abbot of TX and DeSantis of FL transporting migrants to northern cities and Martha’s Vineyard are hollow and hypocritical. I guess it’s okay for Biden to transport illegal immigrants around the country, but when Republican governors do it, it’s racist, authoritarian, un-American, disgusting and vile, inhumane, cowardly, boneheaded, and tantamount to human trafficking. Of course, these bastions of righteousness had nothing to say when Biden was transporting migrants across the country. Honestly, are our nation’s capital, the city that never sleeps, the windy city, and Martha’s Vineyard (of all places!) so horrible that sending someone there who just escaped a third-world socialist hellhole is “inhumane”? (Well, maybe Chicago.) To top it off, the officials in Chicago and Martha’s Vineyard promptly transported the illegals who were sent there out of their communities. Furthermore, Abbot and DeSantis have been making hay of the claim made by DC, NYC, and Chi-town that they are sanctuary cities. I guess it’s easy to claim sanctuary status when you’re not being inundated with hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants every month. But when the crisis hits home, not so much.
Both Democrats and Republicans want to exploit illegal immigrants for political points. They are using these people as pawns in their political game. It seems rather than solve the crisis at the border, our politicians would rather exploit the crisis for political gain. It’s ridiculous and truly inhumane to expect our border cities to absorb the numbers of illegals crossing the border. There are illegals now sleeping on sidewalks in El Paso. Border towns are experiencing escalated crime related to the surge in migrants and many U. S. citizens, as well as the migrants themselves, fear the threat from cartels that organize so much of the illegal activity on the border. Migrants with criminal records and ties to cartels are being released across the country.
Other pawns in the political game of our elected officials are those who have died or been seriously injured from fentanyl. Fentanyl overdose is now the leading cause of death among adults 18-45 years old. No one disputes that fentanyl is streaming into the U. S. across our southern border. The cartels have exploited our open southern border to transport uncountable doses of fentanyl and other opioids into our country, and many are unknowing victims, not realizing that the drugs of their choice are being laced with fentanyl without their knowledge.
Our elected officials have a responsibility to stop the flow of drugs into our country along our southern border. That means stopping the flow of millions of illegal immigrants across our southern border. It doesn’t matter if only a small percentage of illegals are being used by the cartels to bring in drugs. The fact is, the open border is a sieve for deadly drugs, and as long as our border is open, those drugs will continue to pour into the U. S. Why our president, governors, and Congress cannot find a solution to this crisis is inexplicable. Well, I guess it’s explicable. They want to continue exploiting the border crisis for their political benefit. But at what price? Are they willing to overwhelm our cities with people they cannot properly care for, and stand by as thousands every year die of overdoses in order to profit for their personal political gain?
Sadly, the answer is yes.
I pray for my country.
Be Christ for all. Bring Christ to all. See Christ in all.
